Directions
- Cleanse, tone and moisturise face, and apply lip balm. Next, apply your usual primer.
- Apply a thin, sheer layer of the white face paint / foundation to your entire face, ears and around 1/3 the way down your neck, fading into your natural skin tone. Don’t make the white too thick, we’re going for more of a deathly pale look rather than bright white.
- Use a powder brush and dust a light layer of the white powder over the white face paint. Again, try not to make it too opaque.
- Next fill in your eyebrows, exaggerating the shape to make them look slightly thicker, using a black eyeliner pencil. Extend the line from the very tip of your eyebrow towards your hairline, creating a gentle flick at the end. I faded out the colour as I got closer to the hairline, but go with what you think will work best for you!
- Use a small, rounded brush to apply matte black eyeshadow to the lower lash line, extend this upwards at the corner of your eye to create a subtle flick. Smudge this gently.
- Using a flat, angled brush apply the same black eyeshadow to the creases of your eyelid, starting at the outer corners stopping around 1/2 way and blend.
- Next, use your liquid eyeliner to create the perfect flick, mimicking the line of the eye shadow created earlier. Make sure there’s no gaps between the liner and your lash line.
- Finish off with 2 coats of mascara to your upper and lower lashes
- Use a soft, round brush to apply the matte black eyeshadow under your cheekbones. This can be moved depending on where you want to place your ‘stitching’.
- Now its time to draw on your stitching, take a liquid eye liner and draw a line from your hairline down to your chin. This can be straight, wiggly, or placed wherever you want it. Wait a few minutes for it to dry and draw little ‘x’ shapes over the line.
- Repeat this step again on the other side, this time changing the position. I decided to end the line at the corner of my mouth this time.
- Use black eyeliner pencil / lipstick to draw a thick outline of the lips, leaving the centre blank.
- Next use your deep purple lipstick to fill in your entire lip, going over the black. Blend lightly with your fingers if needed.
