About this
An Entertainment Weekly news piece about the making of David Gordon Green's 2018 Halloween and the early plan to bring back Dr. Loomis, the psychiatrist played by Donald Pleasence in John Carpenter's original. Green explains how drafts included a look-alike recreation of the 1978 ending and how the idea was ultimately trimmed to a courtroom sketch and a voice impersonator. The article includes quotes from Green and links to related Halloween coverage.
