Turn Nutter Butter cookies into spooky ghosts with white chocolate and candy eyes in minutes!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at xoxobella.com.
These easy ghost cookies start by coating half of each Nutter Butter in melted white chocolate, then adding candy eyes and a drawn mouth. A quick freeze sets the chocolate, making them perfect for Halloween treats.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place the white chocolate chips into a microwave-safe cup or small bowl.
- Heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes, pausing to stir every half minute, until the chocolate is completely melted and silky.
- Submerge half of a Nutter Butter cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing extra chocolate to fall off.
- Flip the cookie upright and gently shake or tap the bare half so the chocolate slides downward, creating a ghostly drip effect.
- Set the coated cookie on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Place two candy eyes a short distance below the top of each cookie; if available, use baking tweezers for precision.
- Continue this process for all 20 cookies, using the remaining melted chocolate and candy eyes.
- Place the cookies in the freezer for 5 minutes to hasten the chocolate hardening.
- Using a black edible marker, draw a mouth on each cookie just above where the white chocolate coating ends.
