Paper Pumpkin Craft - Easy Peasy and Fun
PHOTO · EASYPEASYANDFUN.COM

This project guides you through crafting a spherical paper pumpkin using orange strips, green leaves, and basic adhesives, resulting in a stable decorative piece perfect for the season.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Slice the orange sheet into narrow ribbons. You will need four of these for each pumpkin, though the exact count may vary based on your desired fullness and the width of your cuts.
  2. Apply adhesive to the center of two ribbons and press them together to form a plus shape.
  3. Repeat the previous step with the remaining two ribbons. Then, position this second cross directly over the first one, angling it at 45 degrees to create a star-like base.
  4. Gather the ends of one ribbon from the base and secure them together with glue to form a loop.
  5. Attach one end of a second ribbon to the edge of your newly formed loop. Continue adding and gluing the remaining ribbons in this fashion, working your way around until the structure becomes a spherical shape.
  6. Shape a small leaf from the green paper and adhere it to the top center. To keep your finished pumpkin stable, place a small weight like a coin or pebble inside the base.
