Easy Ages preschooler Indoor

Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at homeschoolsuperfreak.com.

This Halloween activity transforms ordinary water bottles into glowing monster pins with just stickers and glow sticks. Kids set up the bottles, then bowl in the dark using charged glow balls, aiming for specific monsters or colors. It's a simple, spooky game perfect for preschoolers.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Give each empty water bottle a personality by sticking on monster face decals.
  2. Snap a small glow stick to activate it, then drop one or two into each bottle before screwing the cap back on tightly.
  3. Have your preschooler set up the bottles in a row; if they struggle with a straight line, lay down a strip of tape as a guide.
  4. Flip off the lights and start bowling! For extra help, you can stand behind the bottles to point out which one to aim at, challenge them to knock over a specific monster, or see if they can hit a certain color. Make sure the glow-in-the-dark balls are charged beforehand by placing them in a sunny windowsill.
