  1. Download and print the free Halloween printable PDF.
  2. Let children color the pages, including the charades word cards if they want to help.
  3. Cut the charades cards apart.
  4. Place the cut cards in a pumpkin pail and draw one at a time.
  5. Show children the cards before they guess the words.
  6. Repeat the charades activity a few times during the month.
  7. Use the writing frame to record word-card words or write stories.
