Ingredients
Directions
- Start With the Largest Treat: Choose a serving board or platter with a rim. This will allow you to fill your board to the brim and keep small ingredients corralled inside. Start filling the board with your largest, most eye-catching ingredient, we used store-bought pumpkin roll sliced into rounds. Tile it in the center of the board.
- Add Bowls as Anchors: Add small bowls filled with candies and chocolates as anchor points. Tile seasonal cookies, such as leaf-shaped maple creams around the bowls.
- Fill in Around the Edges: Fill the board to the brim with store-bought macarons, caramel corn and rolled wafer cookies.
- Mix in Some Fruit: Be sure to add a fresh bite to the board in the form of apple slices with a bowl of dipping caramel nearby. Dried apple chips also make excellent dippers for the caramel.
- Include Some Sweet Dips: Sweetened cream cheese with cranberry sauce on top is another sweet spread for cookies or a dip for rolled wafers.
