Ingredients
Directions
- Begin with a 9-by-9-inch brownie square. It can be store-bought, from a box mix, or homemade using your preferred recipe.
- Prepare 1½ pounds of frosting. Options include Italian meringue buttercream, marshmallow buttercream, or purchased frosting.
- Divide the frosting equally among three bowls.
- Tint each bowl with food gel coloring: one green, one orange, and one purple. Add color gradually until the desired shade is achieved.
- Transfer each colored frosting into its own piping bag fitted with a Wilton tip 233.
- Pipe the frosting onto the brownie surface, releasing pressure as you lift the bag upward to form spiky "hair" tufts.
- Keep piping until the whole brownie top is coated in frosting.
- Finish by attaching royal icing eyes, bone-shaped sprinkles, and colored fondant pieces or candies.
