This savory pumpkin hummus blends chickpeas with pumpkin puree, tahini, and warm spices, finished with a fragrant garlic-sage oil. It's creamy, flavorful, and can be served immediately or stored for up to five days. Garnish with pumpkin seeds or fresh herbs for an extra touch.

- Combine chickpeas, pumpkin, tahini, lemon juice, salt, cumin, paprika, and cayenne (if using) in a food processor or blender. Process until the mixture is smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as necessary.
- Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped sage, cooking for about 2 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Transfer the garlic, sage, and oil into the food processor or blender and blend again to combine. Taste and adjust salt or spices if needed.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Note that chilled hummus becomes thicker and creamier. Garnish with roasted pumpkin seeds, paprika, or fresh herbs if desired.
