This project shows you how to create two distinct Halloween treat packages: sealed plastic vials labeled as specimens and stacked paper bags tied with twine. You will need specific craft supplies like washi tape, double-sided tape, and printable labels, along with glassine bags measuring 4 by 6 3/4 inches and small chevron sacks sized 2 3/4 by 4 1/2 inches. The process involves filling the containers with M&Ms or other goodies, securing the closures with tape, and assembling the final looks with decorative touches.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Pack your plastic vials with candy and seal each one with a cork stopper.
  2. Secure the cork in place by wrapping a strip of patterned tape, measuring roughly 3.5 to 4 inches, over the top and down the sides of the vial.
  3. Continue this method until you have filled every vial or used up all your candy.
  4. Affix the 'specimen No 3' sticker to the front of each vial using double-sided adhesive.
  5. Load the glassine pouches and the tiny chevron sacks with your favorite snacks or small toys, then fold the tops down and seal them with tape.
  6. Place the smaller sack on top of the larger one and bind them together using a length of black cord.
