Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 375°F so it's ready when you need it.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and light brown sugar together until creamy.
- Stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
- Add the large egg and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the oats until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Mix in the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, M&M's, and any optional candies like crushed mini Snickers or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop rounded portions of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers look set.
- If you're using candy eyeballs, gently press them into the tops of the cookies while they're still hot from the oven.
- Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve with a glass of cold milk and enjoy!
