These spiced ghost pancakes are perfect for Halloween morning. The pancake batter is flavored with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger, then cooked until golden. Top them with homemade whipped cream shaped into ghosts and add chocolate chip eyes for a cute, festive touch.
Ingredients
Directions
- Warm a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- In a big bowl, mix together the Bisquick, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and a pinch of ginger. Then stir in the lightly beaten eggs and the milk until combined.
- For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle. Let it cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges are firm, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
- To make the ghostly whipped cream, beat the heavy cream until thick. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form. Transfer the cream to a pastry bag and pipe ghost shapes on top of stacked pancakes. Place two mini chocolate chips on each ghost for eyes.
