Spooky Silhouettes as Halloween Window Decor

This Halloween decoration project transforms vintage embroidery hoops into eerie window ornaments. You'll paint the hoops sparkly black, insert sheer purple mesh fabric, and attach black felt silhouettes of a witch, raven, and skull. The result is a hauntingly beautiful display that catches the light.

- Apply painter's tape to the tightening screw on the outer hoop of each vintage embroidery hoop.
- Coat the hoops with sparkly black spray paint.
- Peel off the shimmering top layer from the sheer purple mesh fabric.
- Place pieces of the shimmering fabric into each vintage embroidery hoop.
- Print Halloween silhouette templates (such as a witch, raven, and skull) scaled as close to your desired size as possible.
- Pin the paper silhouette templates onto black felt.
- Cut around the paper templates to produce Halloween silhouettes from the black felt.
- Use fabric glue to attach the black felt silhouettes to the shimmering fabric inside the hoops.
- Trim away any extra gossamer fabric from the back of the hoop.
