- Wash and dry each mason jar, making sure all sticky labels are gone.
- Snip the gauze or cheesecloth into strips that can encircle the jar.
- Brush Mod Podge onto the jar's surface, then wrap the gauze strips around it, leaving some bare spots for the mummy's face.
- Attach googly eyes in the uncovered area. From black construction paper, cut a tiny mouth and adhere it under the eyes.
- Insert a battery-powered tea light into the jar, and your spooky mummy jar is ready to glow.
