Directions
- Prepare chocolate pudding in a small bowl.
- Stir in whipped cream until the mixture turns light brown, then set it aside.
- Place a layer of crushed chocolate sandwich cookies at the bottom of each clear plastic cup.
- Add a layer of pudding over the cookies, then another cookie layer, then another pudding layer, and finish with a cookie layer. Refrigerate until serving time.
- Top each cup with a few gummy worms before serving.
- Print the provided templates; for toddler sizes, select "fit to page" in your printer settings.
- Cut along the lines to separate the template pieces.
- Trace each piece onto your chosen felt colors.
- Carefully cut out the felt pieces and layer them as directed.
- Glue the layers together to form the mask.
- Set the mask aside and gather scissors, yarn, a hairbrush, and a hair iron.
- Gather the yarn strands, tie a loose knot at the top to form a small loop for attaching to clothing.
- Separate the yarn strands by pulling them apart.
- Brush the yarn to fluff it up.
- Use the hair iron to straighten the yarn.
- Attach elastic earloops to your mask, then wear it and howl!
- Wrap gauze bandage tape around a mason jar.
- Glue googly eyes onto the jar.
- Place a flameless votive or small candle inside and enjoy.
- Choose three fabrics that coordinate; you'll need roughly ¾ yard of fabric per pumpkin.
- Place a full toilet paper roll in the center of the fabric.
- Starting from one corner, gather and tuck the fabric into the tube's center, working around until the roll is fully covered.
- Insert thick sticks into the center of the tube, leaving enough protruding to be seen.
- Tie decorative ribbons around the sticks to mimic pumpkin vines.
- Draw eyes on the toilet paper roll; feel free to use stencils for unique shapes.
- Cut out the eye shapes from the roll.
- Insert a glow stick into the roll, seal ends with duct tape, and place in bushes or dark yard spots for eerie décor.
- Carve a Jack O' Lantern from a pumpkin; adults should handle the carving.
- Place the cylinder inside the pumpkin, then an adult pours 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide into it.
- Children can add 2 tablespoons of dish soap into the cylinder.
- Add several drops of food coloring; we used green, but any color works.
- Mix the yeast and 6 tablespoons warm water in a bowl with a fork for 30 seconds.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the cylinder, then step back to watch the foam erupt. Do not touch the foam—it's very hot due to an exothermic reaction. It will cool after a few minutes.
- When finished, rinse all ingredients down the sink as they are safe to drain.
