This quirky Halloween idea transforms pumpkins into cute animals using paint, markers, paper ears, and twig antlers. With acrylic paints and a hot glue gun, you can create a whole pumpkin zoo that's perfect for festive decor.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Select pumpkins of various sizes and shapes, then paint them using acrylic colors that match your chosen animal's fur or skin tones.
  2. Once the paint dries, use a fine black marker pen to draw facial features like eyes and a mouth on each pumpkin.
  3. Cut ears from colored cardstock or printer paper, attach them with a hot glue gun to the sides of the pumpkin where ears would be.
  4. For a deer or reindeer look, find small twigs for antlers and glue them securely to the top of the pumpkin using a hot glue gun.
