These candy corn jello cups mimic the iconic candy's colors using two layers of Jello. First, set a pineapple (yellow) layer, then add an orange layer on top. Finish with whipped cream and candy corn for a fun, no-bake Halloween dessert.
Ingredients
Directions
- Arrange 8 clear plastic or glass cups on a baking sheet for stability, then set them aside.
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Take it off the heat and add both boxes of pineapple Jello, whisking until completely dissolved. Then stir in 2 cups of cold water. Pour the yellow mixture evenly into the cups, filling each about one-third full. If there's any leftover Jello, you can discard it.
- Transfer the cups to the refrigerator and let them chill for 3 hours, or until the yellow layer is fully set.
- Once the first layer is firm, prepare the orange layer. Again, bring 2 cups of water to a boil, remove from heat, and whisk in both boxes of orange Jello until dissolved. Add 2 cups of cold water and stir. Carefully pour the orange mixture over the set yellow layer, filling each cup to the top.
- Return the cups to the fridge and chill for another 3 hours, or until the orange layer is completely set.
- Just before serving, top each jello cup with a generous dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping, then garnish with candy corn for a festive finish.
