Directions

1. Slice the pool noodle into segments to build the candle shape; use a long piece for the main candle and smaller bits for wax drips and accents.
2. With a hot glue gun, fasten the small pieces onto the main candle, arranging them to look like melting wax.
3. Apply a coat of orange acrylic paint over the entire candle. Wait for it to dry completely.
4. Using a fine brush, paint black stripes or spooky patterns. Color the candle's top black or a dark orange to mimic a burned wick.
5. As an extra touch, dab a little white paint onto the drips to give them a shiny, realistic appearance.
