Drunken Peanut Butter Cups
These boozy peanut butter cups combine vodka and peanut butter for a creamy, candy-rimmed cocktail that's perfect for Halloween.
Our own summary of the original by Cody & Camille Goldstein — the full post and photos live at delish.com.
This indulgent cocktail infuses vodka with creamy peanut butter, then mixes it with chocolate liqueur and cream for a rich treat. The glass is rimmed with extra peanut butter and crushed M&M's, and topped with a mini Reese's cup. It requires overnight freezing but is worth the wait for a festive Halloween drink.
Ingredients
Directions
- Combine vodka and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a blender, then blend until smooth. Pour into a sealed container and freeze for at least 8 hours (up to 24).
- Pass the frozen mixture through cheesecloth or a fine sieve to remove solids. Collect the liquid in another container.
- Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on one plate, and put the crushed M&M's on another. Coat the rim of a rocks glass with peanut butter, then dip it into the candies, shaking off any extras.
- In a cocktail shaker, mix heavy cream, chocolate liqueur, crème de cacao, peanut butter whiskey, and 1.5 ounces of the peanut butter vodka. Add ice, cover, and shake vigorously until the shaker feels very cold, about 20 seconds.
- Pour the cocktail into the prepared glass. Carefully place a mini Reese's peanut butter cup on the rim so it sticks.
