- Create two inverted teardrop shapes for the eyes.
- Paint an open mouth in the shape of a kidney bean.
- With the back of a small brush, add a pink dot beneath each eye.
- Place a white dot inside each eye using the brush's back end.
- Cover 90% of the pumpkin in green paint.
- For hair, paint black triangles or a zigzag around the top and fill them in.
- Add two black circles as eyes.
- With your smallest brush or its back, paint a smile slightly narrower than the eyes. Then add two vertical rows of stitches on each side of the face.
- Using the back end of a small brush, put a white dot in each eye.
- Paint 90% of the pumpkin light purple (or your chosen vampire skin color).
- Carefully paint black hair: outline a widow's peak and round ears, then draw a straight line from the ears' bottom around the back, and fill in.
- Add two black circles for eyes.
- Paint a small smile slightly narrower than the eyes using your finest brush or its back.
- Dot a pink spot under each eye with the back of a small brush.
- Using a brush's back end, dot white inside each eye.
- With your smallest brush, paint two tiny triangular teeth.
- Paint one half of the pumpkin green (a full side or enough for a face).
- Outline grey hair: add triangular bangs, frame the face, and extend a spiky border around the back halfway down. Fill in with grey.
- Paint a circular witch hat base at the pumpkin's top.
- Fill the bottom half of the pumpkin with black paint.
- Add two black circles for eyes.
- Paint a small smile just narrower than the eyes using your finest brush or its back.
- Using a small brush's back, add a pink dot on each side of the smile.
- Add a white dot in each eye with the brush's back.
- Paint a dark pink brain section at the top of the pumpkin.
- Paint the rest of the pumpkin turquoise (or your zombie skin color).
- Paint light pink squiggles (called gyri) over the brain area.
- Add two white half-circles for eyes.
- Paint a large black kidney-bean-shaped mouth.
- Fill the eyes with black, leaving a thin white border.
- Using light turquoise (mix white into your paint), add eyelid lines, a nose, a frown below the mouth, and warts with the brush's back.
- Paint teeth in yellow or light green.
