This tutorial guides you through painting a frame black, backing it with festive fabric, and mounting a plastic pumpkin half for a quick and festive Halloween decoration.
You'll need
Directions
- Apply a coat of satin black spray paint to the unfinished wood frame. Let it cure completely before moving on.
- Turn the frame face down and use a hot glue gun to attach the Halloween fabric across the back, ensuring the entire opening is covered.
- Cut away any extra fabric around the edges so it remains hidden when the frame is flipped upright.
- Mount the fabric-covered frame on your wall with a hammer and nail. Position the plastic pumpkin half in the center of the opening, then secure it by hammering a small brad through the fabric and into the pumpkin.
