Frankenstein Monster Rice Krispies Treats

Directions

1. Stir a few drops of green food coloring into the white frosting until evenly tinted, then spread a layer over the top of each Rice Krispies Treat.
2. Slice the black licorice pieces into rounds about 1/4 inch thick, preparing two rounds per treat to serve as bolts.
3. Take 12 licorice pieces and split each one lengthwise down the middle to create 24 thin strips for hair.
4. Arrange 3 licorice hair strips at the top of each treat, then press two candy eyeballs onto the face area.
5. With the red decorating gel, draw a small scar above one eyeball on each treat, and use the black gel to draw a mouth.
6. Apply a dab of frosting to each licorice bolt and attach one to each side of the treat, positioning them roughly level with the eyeballs.
7. Serve these delightfully spooky Frankenstein treats at your Halloween party!
