Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at lemonblossoms.com.
These ghostly freakyshakes are both a dessert and a craft project. Start by coating glasses with caramel and chocolate syrup, then decorate with pretzels and sprinkles. Blend vanilla ice cream with milk, pour into the tricked-out glasses, and top with whipped cream for a frightfully fun drink.
Ingredients
Directions
- Coat the interior of your glasses with caramel dip and chocolate syrup, then spread a generous layer of caramel around the top 2 inches of the outside edge. Make it thick, since the decorated pretzels will be heavy and need good adhesion.
- Attach decorated pretzels, sprinkles, and jimmies to the caramel-covered rims. Place the finished glasses in the freezer to set while you prepare the milkshake.
- In a blender, combine 2 cups vanilla ice cream and 1 cup whole milk. Blend until smooth, then pour the milkshake into the decorated glasses. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
