This Halloween bark starts with melted vanilla candy coating spread thin on a parchment-lined sheet. Customize with festive sprinkles, candy eyes, and salty nuts, then chill until set. Perfect for parties or gifting with minimal effort.

Directions

  1. Prepare a small sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper. A helpful trick is to crinkle the parchment before laying it down so it stays put without curling.
  2. Melt the Candiquik—it's sold in a microwave-safe tray. Heat it for 60 seconds, stir, then continue in 20-second bursts until fully smooth. For almond bark, just follow the instructions on the package.
  3. Pour the melted coating onto the prepared sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula to about a quarter-inch thickness.
  4. Add your favorite toppings—sprinkles, candy eyes, peanuts, or Reese's Pieces—and lightly press them into the surface. Place the bark in the fridge to chill until it's completely firm.
