Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 325°F. Thoroughly butter a 12-cup bundt pan and put it aside.
- Mix up the cake batter following the instructions on the box.
- Portion the batter: put 1 cup into each of three bowls. Color one bowl orange, one purple, and one black. Color the leftover batter green.
- Put the orange batter at the bottom of the bundt pan. Gently add the purple batter on top, then the black, and finally the green. Don't mix or swirl.
- Bake following the box’s bundt pan instructions, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Turn the cake out onto a cooling rack placed over a cookie sheet. Let it cool fully, around 30 minutes.
- Separate the frosting into four microwave-safe bowls. Tint each one with orange, purple, black, and green. Heat each bowl for a few seconds until it's runny enough to drizzle.
- Drizzle the colored frostings one by one over the cool cake, creating stripes. Top with Halloween sprinkles if you like.
- Allow the frosting to set before cutting. Keep loosely covered at room temperature.
