Get ready for a spooky good time with Halloween charades—no talking, just acting!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at playpartyplan.com.
This Halloween party game requires two teams, a timer, and a list of themed words. Players take turns acting out words without speaking, while their teammates guess before time runs out. The team with the most correct guesses after an equal number of rounds wins.
Directions
- Set up your game with an electronic timer, charades words (either printed or jotted on small slips), a container like a bag, bowl, or box to hold the cards, a white poster board, and a permanent marker.
- Divide the players into two even teams.
- Choose which team starts, then pick one person from that team to be the performer.
- Start the timer. The performer draws a word and acts it out without speaking, singing, or mouthing any words.
- Use gestures like tapping your ear for 'sounds like', rolling your hands for 'movie', or holding up fingers to show how many words are in the phrase.
- The performer's teammates guess the word before the timer runs out.
- Keep playing until each team has had the same number of turns; the team that correctly guesses the most words wins.
