Transfer images to tissue paper using a printer or stamps, then attach them to candle surfaces with a hairdryer's heat. A dab of glue stick prevents the paper from shifting during the process. This easy DIY yields personalized Halloween candles.
You'll need
Directions
- Use an inkjet printer, ink pad, or stamps to put your selected pictures onto tissue paper.
- Trim a piece of tissue paper to match a standard sheet of printer paper, then affix it to the printer paper using a small dot of glue at each corner.
- Load the two sheets together into your printer and print as usual.
- Carefully cut around the printed designs, staying close to their edges.
- Attach the cut-out images to the front of your candles by applying heat from a hairdryer.
- Quickly add a tiny bit of glue stick to keep the image from blowing away in the warm airflow before it fully melts into the wax.
