Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at deea-makeup.blogspot.com.
This Cleopatra look combines gold and turquoise eyeshadows with dramatic winged liner and a luminous face. Lips are overdrawn and topped with gold for an opulent finish. Follow these five steps to achieve a regal, ancient-Egyptian inspired costume makeup.
Directions
- Start with foundation and primer, then sweep Farmasi gold eyeshadow across the entire upper lid. Blend a turquoise shade toward the outer corner of the eye.
- Line the lower lash line with Yves Rocher gold mineral eyeshadow, and apply a blue primer to the area you want to highlight. Use the same turquoise shadow from the upper lid over that primer.
- Take an angled brush and map out the direction of your winged liner with black eyeshadow, creating the 'tails'.
- Draw the second tail, then outline both lines with black eyeliner. Accent the inner corner with black liner as well. Fill the space between the two lines with Yves Rocher mineral eyeshadow, and add a violet touch above the upper tail.
- Dust Sleek luminous powder over your entire face for a golden sheen. Define your cheekbones with a blush from the Coastal Scents 78 palette. For lips, overline them slightly to make them look fuller, apply a neutral gloss, and pat gold eyeshadow on top.
