Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at deea-makeup.blogspot.com.
This Cleopatra Halloween makeup features gold and turquoise eyeshadow with dramatic cat-eye tails. The face gets a luminous glow with highlighter and contoured cheeks, while lips are overdrawn and glossed with a gold accent. Perfect for a regal yet spooky costume.
Directions
- After applying foundation and primer, I covered the entire upper eyelid with gold eyeshadow from Farmasi, then blended a turquoise shade toward the outer corner of the eye.
- Next, I lined the lower eyelid with Yves Rocher gold mineral eyeshadow and applied a blue primer in the area I planned to accent, using the same turquoise shadow from the upper lid.
- Using an angled brush, I sketched the direction for the cat-eye tails with black eyeshadow.
- I then drew the second tail, outlined both lines with black liquid liner, and darkened the inner corner of the eye with the same liner. I filled the gap between the two lines with Yves Rocher mineral shadow and added a purple highlight above the upper tail.
- I dusted Sleek highlighting powder over my entire face for a golden sheen, contoured my cheekbones with blush from the Coastal Scents 78 palette, and moved to the lips. I lined just outside my natural lip line to make them appear fuller, applied a neutral lip gloss, and topped it with gold eyeshadow.
