This tutorial teaches you how to create an illusion of a zipper opening on your face using makeup and a real zipper. You'll use glue, foundation, eyeshadows, and lip glosses to achieve a textured, bloody effect. The zipper is attached with double-sided tape for a realistic look.
Directions
- Position the zipper on your face to mark the area that will be red. Then, using a thin angled brush and brown eyeshadow, trace the outline of that area.
- Spread an even layer of glue across the whole marked region. Next, add tiny additional glue bits to create a textured surface.
- Cover the entire glued area with foundation and let it dry fully.
- Dust red eyeshadow over the entire surface. Then, deepen certain spots with lip glosses from the ELF Beauty Book to create darker accents.
- Secure the zipper in place using double-sided tape. Outline the inner edge of the zipper with a thin brush and black eyeshadow to add depth. Blend everything smoothly, and touch up any glue pieces if needed.
