This Halloween Monster Popcorn recipe transforms stovetop popcorn into a festive treat. After popping and salting, you coat the popcorn with melted Candy Melts and decorate with sprinkles and eyeball sprinkles for a fun, crunchy snack.
Ingredients
Directions
- To pop popcorn on the stove with a Whirley-Pop, pour vegetable oil into the pan, add 3 kernels, and heat over medium. Once those kernels pop, add the full cup of popcorn kernels.
- Keep turning the Whirley-Pop handle continuously so the popcorn doesn't burn. When popping slows down almost completely, turn off the heat and take the popper off the stove.
- Transfer the popcorn to a bowl and sprinkle with salt.
- Melt the Candy Melts following the package directions (microwave works well).
- Pour the melted candy over the popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
- Immediately spread the candy-coated popcorn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with colorful sprinkles and eyeball sprinkles.
- Enjoy your spooky treat!
