Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface if they aren't already flattened.
- Using a cookie cutter, cut out as many shapes as possible. You'll need an even number for tops and bottoms.
- Arrange half of the cutouts on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Spoon a small amount of jam in the center of each cutout, leaving a border around the edges.
- Place the remaining cutouts on top and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the marshmallows in 15-20 second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth.
- Let the melted marshmallows cool slightly so they thicken enough to drizzle without running too much.
- Drizzle the marshmallow over the cooled pies using a spoon or piping bag to create a mummy wrap effect. Optionally, add small dots of melted chocolate or candy pieces for eyes.
- Dust with powdered sugar or add edible eyes if desired (both optional).
