Gets Bored Easily: Halloween Party Game
PHOTO · GETSBOREDEASILY.BLOGSPOT.COM

This Halloween party game is made by placing buckets on a painted board, drilling holes to attach them with bolts, and optionally decorating with numbers. Players toss small objects into the buckets for a spooky, active game. It's simple to build and can be customized with paint and stencils.

You'll need

Directions

  1. First, locate a board that can comfortably hold all your buckets. I used six, but you can use any number you like.
  2. If you'd like, paint the board in any color you prefer; I opted for spray paint.
  3. Arrange the buckets on the board and trace their outlines.
  4. Drill a hole in the center of each traced circle on the board.
  5. Drill a hole in the bottom of each bucket. To prevent splitting, stack the buckets together before drilling through all of them at once.
  6. Insert a bolt from underneath the board through the hole, then place a bucket over it. Secure the bucket by threading a nut onto the bolt from inside the bucket.
  7. Admire your handiwork—it's already functional. But if you want to spruce things up, read on for a decorative touch.
  8. For extra flair, use stencils and craft paint to add numbers. I used Martha Stewart number stamps to paint numbers on each bucket.
  9. Take a moment to appreciate your creation, then gather items to toss, like ping-pong balls, bouncy balls, or bean bags, and start the game.
