This easy Halloween bark recipe starts with melted chocolate spread thin, then topped with festive sprinkles, gummy candies, candy corn, and more. Let it set, then break into pieces for a crunchy, colorful treat that's ready in under an hour.
Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper, wax paper, or a silicone baking mat.
- Melt your chocolate or candy melts. If using a microwave, place them in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-second bursts at half power, stirring between each burst, until fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler on the stove.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared sheet and spread it with a spatula into an even layer about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- While the chocolate is still wet, add your toppings in any pattern you like. Gently press them in or tap the pan to help them stick.
- Allow the bark to set until firm. This takes 1-2 hours at room temperature or 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Once the bark is completely hard, cut it into pieces with a sharp knife or break it apart with your hands for a more rustic look.
