Directions
- Measure and mark your chosen board material. I selected four distinct colors of poster board, measuring and marking 7.3 inches on each side to create two reference points per sheet. Using a yardstick as a guide, I connected these dots with straight lines.
- Slice along your marked lines to produce three separate strips from each sheet.
- Apply hot glue to the ends of the three strips, joining them end-to-end to form a single, extended length.
- Adorn the exposed edges with decorative elements. I attached one glitter ribbon strip and two metallic tape strips to both sides. You can customize this binding with various supplies like yarn, paint, stickers, markers, pipe cleaners, or additional hot glue.
- Draft your title in pencil first, then trace over it using Folk Art Treasure Gold Paint. Alternative methods for lettering include markers, paint, yarn, rope, or chalk.
- Secure your finished creation to the door using standard tape. Double-sided tape is also a viable option for mounting.
