Ingredients
Directions
- Make half a batch of Jane's Dirt Cake in a 2½-quart rectangular baking dish. Refrigerate for at least four hours (you can also do this a day ahead).
- Bake a half batch of Espresso Shortbread Headstone cookies. Decorate them as you like, then store in an airtight tin.
- Pipe Sweet Bones (meringue) into different shapes and sizes. Bake them, add chocolate details if you want, and keep in an airtight container.
- Arrange 50 pretzel sticks around the edge of the cake to form a fence.
- Stick the meringue bones and cookie headstones upright into the cake so they stand firmly.
- Fill any gaps with gummy worms and extra bones.
- Pull apart ½ cup of cotton candy to create edible spider webs. Drape these over the pretzel fence or between the headstones.
- Place a ghost in each corner of the cake.
