This no-carve gnome pumpkin decoration uses a floral cone for the hat, a wooden bead for the nose, and yarn for bushy eyebrows. It's a quick, fun project that requires no carving, just hot glue and basic materials.
You'll need
Directions
- Start by cutting off the pumpkin's stem to create a flat top. Then glue a wooden bead onto the pumpkin's front, centered about two-thirds up from the bottom, to form the nose. Finally, attach a floral cone to the top of the pumpkin as the hat using hot glue.
- For the eyebrows, wrap yarn around four fingers several times to create a thick loop. Cut the yarn from the skein, then slide the loop off your hand. Cut a separate piece of yarn and tie it tightly around the middle of the loop to separate the two eyebrows. Tie another piece of yarn about half an inch from one end of the bundle. Snip the closed loops at both ends to create fringe, giving a bushy appearance. Glue the eyebrow piece horizontally between the nose and the top of the pumpkin.
