Ingredients
Directions
- In a spacious bowl, blend together the two packages of cream cheese, half a cup of mild salsa, and the taco seasoning packet.
- Should you want to prepare this in advance, keep the seasoned cream cheese blend covered inside the refrigerator.
- Once you're ready to assemble, take out your chosen serving platter.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture to the middle of the platter and evenly smooth it into a large circular shape that spans the width of the platter.
- Generously cover the cream cheese layer with the two cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Search for blue tortilla chips that are already broken, as you'll need to create small triangular pieces.
- Snap off any irregular portions from those chips to shape the triangles that will become the jack-o-lantern's eyes and mouth.
- Use the sliced black olives to form either a smiling or frowning mouth on your pumpkin face.
- Press the three-inch celery piece into the top of the dip to serve as the stem.
- Present the dip alongside a bowl of additional tortilla chips for scooping.
