Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at creativehomemaking.com.
This non-alcoholic witch's brew punch combines lime, pineapple, and lemon-lime flavors with a fizzy, foaming effect from sherbet. Garnished with gummy worms or candy eyeballs, it's a perfect Halloween party centerpiece. Optional dry ice adds a foggy, spooky touch.
Ingredients
Directions
- In a large bowl (like a cauldron), combine the lime-flavored drink mix and pineapple juice. Stir until the powder has fully dissolved.
- Gently pour the chilled lemon-lime soda and ginger ale into the bowl. Stir slowly to blend everything together.
- Drop scoops of lime sherbet onto the surface of the liquid. The sherbet will cause a fizzy, foamy reaction that looks like a bubbling potion.
- For a creepy decoration, drape gummy worms over the edge of the bowl or scatter candy eyeballs so they float in the punch.
- If you choose to use dry ice for a fog effect, add a small piece just before serving. Take care that nobody directly ingests the dry ice.
- Serve the punch right away, using festive straws or Halloween cups to make it the centerpiece of your party.
