Transform plain pumpkins into customizable décor using letterboard letters and reusable Funkins. Choose between permanent or swappable sayings, and add a handmade felt leaf garland to your porch for a festive fall display.

- Purchase a set of letters from Hobby Lobby, available in black and white.
- Get a set of Funkins pumpkins, which are reusable and can be carved.
- If desired, spray paint the letters to change their color, or keep them as is.
- Method 1 for attaching letters: Press each letter into the pumpkin skin to leave an indent, then snap the letter into place. This works best for a permanent saying.
- Method 2: Use a knife to carve thin lines where the letters will sit, allowing you to swap out sayings easily.
- Alternatively, apply letter stickers directly onto the pumpkin for a different look.
- Flip the pumpkin to display different sayings on opposite sides, such as 'fall' on one side and 'Halloween' or 'eeek' on the other.
- Make a colorful leaf garland by using fake leaves as templates to cut shapes from felt sheets in fall colors.
- Braid several strands of chunky yarn together to form a chain.
- Use hot glue to attach the felt leaves along the yarn chain.
- Hang the garland on your porch alongside other décor like a felt ball garland and a hay bale.
