These cute robot pumpkins are easy to make using mini pumpkins, metallic spray paint, and assorted nuts and bolts. Get the kids involved in designing each robot, then hot glue the parts into place for a fun, festive DIY project.

- Begin by coating your mini pumpkins, gourds, or butternut squash with metallic gold or silver spray paint, and let them dry completely.
- If you want colored hardware, spray paint your hex nuts, bolts, and screws in any shades you like.
- Bring the kids into the planning phase and decide together what each robot pumpkin will look like.
- Once you've settled on a design, use a hot glue gun to attach all the pieces, such as nuts, bolts, googly eyes, felt, wire, or bottle tops.
