Mini Pumpkin Felt Masks and Wings

Transform mini pumpkins into cute felt masks or bat wings with this simple craft.

This project uses black felt, hemp cord, and toothpicks to create adorable mini pumpkin decorations. You can make cat, superhero, or masquerade masks, or spooky bat wings. Just print the template, cut the felt, and attach to your pumpkin.

Directions

Get the template for your chosen design (Cat Mask, Superhero Mask, Masquerade Mask, or Bat Wings) from online and print it out.

Use scissors to cut around the printed template precisely.

Position the template on black felt (or stiff black felt for wings), trace around it with a pen or chalk, then cut out the shape.

If making a mask: attach a length of black hemp cord to each side of the cutout with glue, then tie the cords around a small pumpkin.

If making bat wings: tape a toothpick to the back of each wing so the pick’s tip is exposed, then insert the toothpicks into opposite sides of the pumpkin.
