Ingredients
Directions
- Heat oven to 425°F. Grease a donut pan with nonstick spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in milk and vanilla yogurt until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix until just combined.
- Split the batter into three bowls. Keep one plain, tint one orange, and the other green.
- Transfer each batter to a separate zip-top bag, snip a corner, and pipe into the donut pan—4 donuts per color.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool in pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For frosting, beat one stick of butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed.
- Add powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp milk; beat on medium-high until combined. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla.
- Divide frosting into three bowls and color them orange, green, and black.
- Put each frosting into a piping bag with desired tips (e.g., fur tip, thin tip for webs) and decorate the donuts.
- Garnish with candy eyes, Halloween sprinkles, or edible spiders if you like.
