In this Halloween game, players draw a monster character and take turns rolling dice to advance along a prize path. They can stop anytime with their prizes, but matching a partner character gives a strike—two strikes and they lose everything. It's a game of luck and nerve!

Directions

  1. Each player picks a slip from a bag that has character names written on them.
  2. Players gather behind or to the side of the prize path, which is marked with tape. One volunteer rolls two dice. If a player's character matches a die result, they step to the first line and take the prize there. If their character matches both dice, they move two lines forward and claim prizes from both lines.
  3. Before every dice roll, players choose to either continue playing for more prizes or exit with what they've collected. In later rounds, additional outcomes: matching one die advances one line, matching both advances two lines, and rolling your character's partner (vampire/bat, witch/cat, Headless Horseman/pumpkin) gives you a strike.
  4. Upon receiving a second strike, a player is eliminated and must give back all prizes they won that round.
