This playful recipe turns spinach wraps into a festive monster snack by adding creative toppings like cheese hair, pickle facial features, and olive bolts for a fun, edible Halloween treat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Spread your preferred sandwich ingredients inside the spinach tortillas, then roll them tightly into a cylinder shape. Take the cheddar or nori sheets and slice them into half-moons to create the iconic hair, positioning these pieces along one side of the rolled wrap. Next, slice the opposite side of the wrap into thin, vertical strips to form the mouth. Trim the smallest cornichon pickles lengthwise to make eyebrows, and use a thin slice from another pickle for the nose. Finally, attach the pimiento-stuffed olive slices to serve as eyes.
- Secure two whole olives or halved cornichons to the sides of the wrap using toothpicks to represent the monster's bolts.
