This guide details how to build a Halloween tree using a tri-fold board, brown craft paper, and packing paper for branches. You will create roots by cutting and crumpling the paper, secure the structure with hot glue and adhesive strips, and add magnetic spiders using cut rings and magnetic tape. The project also includes instructions for decorating with webbing, tombstones, and a multi-colored deco mesh wreath with glittery spiders.

Directions
- Start with a spare tri-fold presentation board to serve as your foundation. Take one of the panels and drape it with curly deco mesh to create a festive centerpiece, while the remaining panels will form the main structure of the tree.
- Unroll two substantial lengths of brown kraft paper to construct the tree trunk. You will need two pieces because a single sheet won't provide enough width for the desired look.
- At the bottom edge of the paper, slice one sheet into three segments and the other into two segments. These cut sections will become the tree's roots.
- Crumple and twist these root sections together to establish a rough, organic shape.
- Gather and crumple the remaining trunk paper to give it texture and volume.
- Refine the roots by pulling them apart slightly to add more definition and length.
- Apply hot glue to attach the bottom of the paper trunk to the cardboard board, ensuring some unglued paper extends downward to act as the roots.
- Secure the entire board to your surface using a single heavy-duty adhesive strip.
- Cut sheets of packing paper at a diagonal angle to create branch tips. Attach these to the trunk using a dab of hot glue or a piece of packing tape.
- Stretch fishing line from the branches to provide support and create hanging points for your arachnid decorations.
- To make magnetic spiders, remove the plastic rings from a pack of spider rings. Hot glue small fragments of magnetic tape onto the rings to allow them to stick to metal surfaces.
- Place additional plastic spiders into small potted plants that are already sitting on your desk.
- Scatter miniature tombstones and drape spider webbing across your workspace for extra atmosphere.
- Craft a festive wreath for the main conference table by weaving together orange, purple, green, and black deco mesh, then tuck glittery spiders throughout the design.
