Pumpkin Dump Cake (aka Pumpkin Stuff)

This pumpkin dump cake layers a spiced pumpkin filling with a buttery cake mix topping. Simply combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, spices, eggs, and sugar, pour into a pan, top with cake mix and melted butter, then bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream for a perfect fall treat.

- Set your oven to 350°F to preheat.
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, ginger, cloves, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and 1 cup of the yellow cake mix. Stir until well mixed. Transfer this mixture into a 9x13-inch pan that has been greased and floured.
- Evenly scatter the remaining cake mix over the top of the pumpkin mixture.
- Melt the butter and drizzle it evenly over the cake mix layer.
- Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- Serve topped with fresh whipped cream or ice cream. This dessert is delicious both warm and cold.
