These pumpkin muffins start with a spice cake mix and canned pumpkin, making them incredibly simple to prepare. A sprinkle of brown sugar adds a sweet crunch, and they bake in just 20 to 25 minutes. Enjoy a warm, cozy treat with minimal effort.

- Set your oven to 350°F and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the spice cake mix and pumpkin pie spice. Then stir in the pumpkin puree until fully combined.
- Fill each liner about three-quarters full with the batter—an ice cream or large cookie scoop works well since the batter is thick. Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoons of brown sugar on top of each muffin, then gently press it into the batter with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Avoid overbaking.
- Take the pan out of the oven and let the muffins cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
