This Halloween party punch combines cranberry, pineapple, lemonade, and ginger ale for a refreshingly eerie beverage. Optional vodka adds an adult twist, while DIY frozen hand ice sculptures create a creepy centerpiece that's sure to impress.
Ingredients
Directions
- Position your large punchbowl in its final spot on the table before adding any liquid—it's very heavy once full and difficult to move.
- Combine 4 quarts cranberry juice cocktail, 2 cups pineapple juice, 6 oz thawed frozen lemonade concentrate, ½ to 1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale (or lemon-lime soda), and 4-6 cups vodka (if using) in the punchbowl. Stir well, ensuring you reserve enough space for the ice hands.
- For the creepy ice hands, fill a food-safe glove about three-quarters full with water (or juice to avoid dilution). Tie the wrist closed like a balloon, or twist it and secure with a strong clamp. Lay the glove flat on a tray in the freezer until completely solid.
- Once the hands are frozen hard, remove them from the freezer. Carefully cut away the plastic glove using small scissors or a knife, being cautious not to break the fingers.
- Float the frozen hands in the punch just before your guests arrive. Optionally, garnish with frozen cranberries for extra spooky effect.
