Ingredients
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Mix the Mama Mia Marinara Sauce Mix with the can of crushed tomatoes following the directions on the packet.
- Unroll the pizza dough and slice it into 12 long strips. Roll each strip into a rope, then flatten one end for the snake head and taper the other for the tail.
- Set the breadsticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Twist each one in a spiral around a greased metal skewer or chopstick. Brush the spirals with Roasted Garlic Avocado Oil, then sprinkle with Rustic Herb Seasoning and poppy seeds.
- Using a small knife, cut black olives into tiny triangles and place two on each head to form eyes. For a tongue, slice a thin piece of dried chile pepper and insert it gently into the mouth area.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until they turn golden brown. Let them cool for 3 minutes, then carefully slide out the skewers or chopsticks. Serve warm with the prepared marinara sauce for dipping.
- This recipe makes 12 servings.
- Tip: If dried chile peppers are hard to find, you can swap in a piece of red pimiento for the tongue.
